Hello, my name is Nick.
I’m a home inspector in Bentonville, and I conduct inspections in Bentonville, Rogers, Springdale, and all over Benton and Washington counties in Northwest Arkansas. I also founded and own Alpha & Omega Inspections. I’m an Arkansas native who grew up in Bentonville, and several years ago I decided to form my own home inspection company because of a disappointing experience I had purchasing a home. More on that in a minute. But first… |
You should know that I’m a fully-trained InterNACHI© Certified Professional Inspector© and an Arkansas-Licensed Home Inspector #1925. I graduated at the top of my class at American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT), an industry-leading home inspector training school. I’m also a member of InterNACHI, the world’s leading association for home inspectors.
My credentials and training are important to me because they show that I have the knowledge to provide thorough, detailed, and accurate information to help people in their home-buying decisions.
That is absolutely my purpose any time I conduct a home inspection for anyone.
Home buying is a process that can be both exciting and stressful, and sometimes it brings some unwanted surprises. Believe me, I know.
Why I Founded Alpha & Omega Inspections
More than 10 years ago, my wife and I purchased our first home.
We were looking for a home below our budget, one that we could make our own with just a little bit of TLC. A great realtor found us a few houses to tour, and what do you know, we found the diamond in the rough we were hoping for. We put in an offer, and 24 hours later we were under contract.
Our next step in the process was to get a home inspector. We found one who had been in the business for a while, and the next day we had the inspection done.
When we received our report, there wasn’t anything too unexpected except some water in the crawlspace. With some landscaping, we figured we would be good, so we moved forward with the purchase.
Over the first two years of living in our home, we found quite a few very expensive issues. The washing machine drain (standpipe) had been damaged and was leaking, which was visible by the wet drywall that was deteriorating behind the washing machine. We were a little concerned that something clearly visible was missed, but it was an easy and cheap fix, so we just dealt with it.
Later on, when we decided to do an update to the kitchen, we discovered that the leak from the washing machine was actually a much bigger issue. We ended up spending thousands of dollars replacing all of the flooring, subflooring, and structural members.
And the water under the house in the crawlspace?
It was a bigger issue than our inspection had led us to believe. Our entire HVAC system had to be replaced, including all the ductwork due to deterioration from sitting in water.
That experience was why I founded Alpha & Omega Inspections.
Home inspectors cannot see through walls. They can’t guess what may break or quit working in the near future, but they should be able to examine a home thoroughly and recognize signs that either already are or could turn into big issues.
My goal at Alpha & Omega Inspections is to ensure that your home buying and owning experience is the best it can possibly be – one with no unwanted surprises.
When you are ready to purchase your home, give me a call.

Prior to founding Alpha & Omega Inspections, I had a 15-year career at Walmart. I worked as a cashier before moving on to store management. Eventually, I began work designing store layouts and developing prototypes of future Walmart stores.
